I  got my  first Kamaka Ukulele on my 7th birthday taking a month worth of lessons from Roy Sakuma, but I didn't take it seriously and put it aside. I received  my first classical guitar on my 9th birthday and studied classical guitar for four years. 
 
    After  being inspired listening to Neal Schon from Journey's albums, I got my first electric guitar at 13 and got inspired by other guitarists such as Randy Rhoads and Van Halen.
 
    Then a big turning point in my life was when Yngwie Malmsteen came to Hawaii in 1983 with Alcatrazz. I heard his music on 98 Rock Hawaii Radio station and was inspired to practice many hours a day in my teens.   Then later influenced by legions of Mike Varney's Shrapnel Recording Artists shredders.  They are  Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Paul Gilbert, Paganini, Bach, Shawn Lane, GregHowe,  Ritchie Kotzen etc. After playing professionally in bands in my teens, I decided to attend college studying advanced music theory for a year.

        In 1990 I graduated with Honors from G.I.T.( Guitar Institute of technology) MI MUSICIAN'S INSTITUTE in Hollywood,California.  I was inspired by Paul Gilbert taking one guitar lesson from him  on his off tour schedule  from Mr.Big, Mike Ward (Wallflowers, School of Fish), Gary Hoey , Russ Parrish( Satchel from Steel Panther) , Marty Friedman (Hawaii, Megadeth, Cacophony) Don Mock and Jazz fusion improvization studies, Steve Trovato, Country/bluegrass Sight reading ensembles, improvisation , Live playing grooveband work shops all music styles, and Rock Performance Live playing workshops.

I played the L.A. scene for a number of years with a  Progressive Rock band called Invictus.
      
   I relocated back to Honolulu, Hawaii in mid 90s recording progressive originals  from TWIST OF FATE BAND with an  E.p. release selling over hundreds of copies  and radio airplay.

Hired session guitarist for a number of local Rock cover bands in Honolulu for over a decade.
    
        In 2015,  I graduated with a Music Business associates degree and minor in Audio engineering from HCC the MELE (Music Entertainment Learning Experience) program linked to Nashville, Tennesse Mike Curb School of Music in 2013. This  Music Business and Audio Engineering program was founded by  Jim Ed Norman (former vice president for Warner Bros. Records)
     
         I graduated with  Bachelors Degree in Music from U.H., and I am currently finishing Higher Degree in  Music  University level in Guitar performance/Music Composition, as well as many other music  styles be it Jazz, Fusion, Experimental and World Ethnic etc. As a result, I am  continuing to refine my  commitment to excellence  on overall musicianship skills, songwriting composition, sight reading, improvising solos , recording, live performance and entertainment  etc.
      For the last 20 years, I  taught over hundreds of students for Electric guitar  including the family of a celebrity for a popular nation wide sitcom  show available upon request. I am work for hire session guitarists mainly for cover tune rock guitarist as a temp substitute. I am currently composing and recording original music and accepting students. 
   
        I am a professional gigging guitarist  .  YOU WILL BE ENTERTAINED  AND YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME. We play our own original compositions as well as cover tunes from Journey, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger etc. We are booked and are also for hire in any event you want. We gig at Gordon Biersch, Chez regurlarly and Waikiki at times.Band can also be available to travel out of state as well for gigs like in Las Vegas, California etc,
